It's the highlight of our school fixture calendar and 4 days that determine the success of our summer programme. MERSEY CUP 2026
Are you wanting to find a challenging tournament for your School, Academy, County or Club side at U13 or U15 level? If so this is the tournament for you. Steffan Jones the Former Director of Sport at Wellington School and Rajasthan Royals Fast Bowling & throwing specialist writes a testimonial above of what this tournament has provided for his school. This includes offering six cricket scholarships to boys who have performed well in the tournament. The Mersey Cup is a high profile U13 & U15 T20 tournament where the players play six games in three days. The tournament is run on a league basis with bonus points available. 28 County & District players played in 2024 including three overseas players.
We also appoint premiere league umpires and scorers. The U13 tournament is based at Timperley CC and the u15 Tournament at Chester Boughton Hall CC with the Roma City of Chester in close proximity. The Roman city is a great place to visit and stay with lots of accommodation, restaurants, attractions, bars and pubs.
The U13 tournament is based at Timperley Cricket Club in Altringham and there is accommodation available as well as restaurants & pubs.
