We have 9 different academy sessions running in 2025 catering for players of all abilities. From u5 to Elite county players and adults. We operate out of two venues:

U.9's Softball Session - Wirral & Chester
This session will focus on looking at the basic fundamentals of the game. Batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket keeping. This is a fun session for boys and girls to develop their love of the game in a supportive and nurturing environment. They will have nets, play matches, and work on various drills and skills that will improve their all-round athleticism, coordination, and cricketing skills.

9yrs - U11 Transition to hardball
This session will focus on those that move up to u11 hardball but may be slightly nervous about it. We will show them how to put on and adjust all the kit and we use equipment like a bowling machine to help develop their confidence when batting. We use video analysis as a teaching tool so players can see the areas they need to improve whilst also highlighting their strengths.

This will be achieved by live net sessions, 1to1 sessions on the bowling machine, skill specific sessions, fielding drills and 1to1 video analysis. We will also have matches as well as focus sessions on one particular area like Power Hitting. We will also capture footage to upload to Youtube for player initiated learning. This will allow players and the working parent to see the progress that is being made in the comfort of their own home.

This session is for those County, District players and those on the fringe of those squads that want to take their game to the next level. We have three girls that are in the Thunder EPP at present and a number of girls who play for Wales and senior women's cricket to a good standard. Its an invite only session so please contact Pro Cricket Academies Head Coach Brad Donelan (07757553656) if you think your son or daughter is of the required standard. Our ethos is to challenge our players and if they are good enough we will move them up to the men's session at both our Wirral and Chester Academy. This is done once I have had a chance to assess them and feel its appropriate and they will cope physically and mentally. All areas of the game will be looked at: Technical - Tactical - Physical - Mental. This will be achieved by: live net sessions, 1to1 sessions on the bowling machine, skill specific sessions, fielding drills and 1to1 video analysis. Adult Session
Our adult session is open to everyone wanting to improve their game. We have differing abilities that train from EPP county players, Premiere league players to club 3rd XI. With four nets available we are able to differentiate training for the needs of the individual. We operate a bowling machine and over the course of the program you will have the ball bowled at you from different angles so we can build your game plan. The mix of live nets, bowling machine and skill specific sessions means that we cover a lot of the skills of the games including Power Hitting, Fielding and Strength & Conditioning training.
